At Knight Plumbing, Inc., our culture starts with how we treat people. We treat every customer like a dear friend, and we treat every member of our team with the same dignity and respect we bring into your home. We are a family-owned company built on honesty, integrity, and doing plumbing work the right way, not the fast way.
Our owner, Dave Knight, a Master Plumber with over 25 years in the plumbing industry, personally trains every technician who joins our team. When Bradley Grayson joined Knight Plumbing, Inc. as an apprentice ten years ago, he learned plumbing directly through Dave and through great instructors during his apprenticeship. Today, Bradley has grown with the company and now helps guide newer apprentices in the field.
We believe no one should be sent into your home until they have real training and a solid foundation. Some smaller companies will hire people, teach them a few tasks, and send them out on their own. Dave was never going to allow that at Knight Plumbing, Inc.. All of our plumbers start here and go through a full apprentice program. Bradley and our leaders go out with them during their training to show them how to treat a customer, how to communicate clearly, and how to do the job the right way from the start.
Our technicians possess the exacting installation skills and engineered involvement required for long-lasting plumbing system performance. We use modern tools, including video camera inspections and advanced drain equipment, but our culture is rooted in hands-on mentoring and doing careful, code-compliant work on every job. We obtain all necessary permits, follow local codes, and carry out all new installations and equipment repairs to code, because cutting corners does not fit who we are.
Inside the company, we are proud of the team we have built. As Bradley says, we have a great group of guys, and we honestly could not be happier with them. We look for people who are courteous, kind, professional, and thorough. We support one another in the field, share what we have learned, and stay focused on solving problems for our customers. That team mindset is a big reason why so many of our reviews call out individual technicians by name.
How we work day to day reflects what we stand for. We arrive promptly in fully stocked work trucks and back them with a warehouse full of parts, so you do not have to wait around for basic materials. We offer same-day appointments for urgent plumbing needs and have reached homes in less than 30 minutes from the initial call. Our office team is available Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 4 PM and on Saturdays from 8 AM to 12 PM, and you can also use our online scheduling system to book an appointment when it is convenient for you.
We are committed to clear communication and transparent business practices. We provide upfront pricing with no surprise charges or hidden fees. We take time to explain the work, answer questions, and educate you on what we are doing and why. Our technicians respect your home, work carefully to avoid tracking in mud, and clean up any mess so it looks like we were never there.
Our culture also shows in the way we stand behind our work. We offer a three-year written warranty on recommended plumbing repairs, and we extend longer written warranties on specific installations, such as water heaters, with up to a 10-year written warranty on water heaters and installations. We see these warranties as part of our promise to do our best possible work and give you confidence long after we leave.
For more than 20 years, we have served over 6,000 customers across Shorewood, West Allis, Wauwatosa, the Bay View area, and surrounding communities from our conveniently located office at 4270 S Howell Ave in Milwaukee, just a short drive from Lake Michigan and less than two miles from Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport. We continue to grow because we build long-lasting relationships, respond quickly when you need us, and always want you to walk away with a sense of satisfaction, knowing we did everything correctly and did the best work we can possibly do.
